SMART School....SMART School provides networked solutions for schools, colleges and universities. With a networked solution you can have up to 250 users connecting to the same database at once, all accessing, updating and making changes. You can spread the computer access points around the building or even across multiple sites. A networked solution is truly the way to go if you want your information readily updated and at your fingertips. We sell these in two ways: • Unmodifiable - these are relatively inexpensive software versions, they allow you some personalisation but you cannot change the database structure. • Fully modifiable - a little more expensive but you can change the database structure to suit your needs, you get master passwords and can even make you or your school money by reselling the software to other establishments under our reseller scheme. Utilising the powerful Filemaker 8 engine you know you will be getting a fantastic tool that can handle any job. Our databases work on both Mac and Windows computers, they can communicate with corporate applications such as XML, ODBC, and JDBC. You can import virtually any type of information including Microsoft Excel files, Word documents, digital pictures, movies, you can even import from your existing database. You can export your information in a range of formats including CSV, Tab separated, SYLK, DBF, DIF, WKS, BASIC, HTML and XML. And the security features are second to none, allowing differing access levels for different people with fantastic data encryption. We produce serious and professional applications.
